Normandy is a friendly school, where we truly believe that every child can achieve. As our Children’s School Mission Statement says, ‘Everyone is Good at Something.’ We want there to be no boundaries to learning and, as staff and governors, we want to ensure that our children reach their potential, enjoy coming to school, share common values and good behaviour and develop a sense of identity within our local and the wider community. Our school name, Normandy, comes from the name of the orchard and farm which was once where the school now stands. Over time we have also had links with those who served as part of the historic Normandy Landings. We aim to prepare our children for a multi-cultural, ever-changing world and develop the academic and social skills they need to succeed at secondary school and beyond.
There is so much more I would like to tell you about Normandy Primary School: our superb learning environment (including outside learning and Forest School), super displays of children’s work and, most importantly, a team of excellent teachers and support staff, enthusiastic children, governors and parents.
Please arrange a visit and come and see us at first hand.
