HEAD TEACHER WELCOME
Normandy is a friendly school where we truly believe that every child can achieve. We want there to be no boundaries to learning and, as staff and governors, we want to ensure that our children reach their potential, enjoy coming to school, share common values and good behaviour and develop a positive sense of identity within our local and the wider community.
Our children are the future of our society and we want to ensure that we equip them with the skills and confidence to tackle anything in life! We aim to prepare our children for a multi-cultural, ever-changing world and develop the academic and social skills they need to succeed at secondary school and beyond.
Our school name, Normandy, comes from the name of the orchard and farm which once stood where the school now stands. We are extremely lucky to have such a large site for our school with lots of areas for the children to learn, play and investigate.
Our school values reflect our commitment, as a whole school community, to developing our children into fabulous future leaders of our society. At Normandy Primary School we are ‘HAPPY AND BRIGHT’! Have a look at our Values page to find out more about our ‘happy and bright’ values. [http://www.normandy.bexley.sch.uk/values-ethos/]
There is so much more I would like to tell you about Normandy Primary School: our superb learning environment, inspiring displays of children’s work, the positive energy and learning ethos around the school and, most importantly, a team of enthusiastic children, inspirational teachers and support staff, challenging governors and supportive parents.
Why don’t you arrange a visit and come and see us at first hand? We would love to welcome you to Normandy Primary School.
