Year 5 visited the Royal Observatory in Greenwich and had a super time exploring all about astronomy. They watched a film inside the planetarium which explained all about space and planets. They also followed a paper trail in which they had to discover interesting information and facts. There was also an opportunity to sketch the view out over London.
Samuel (5S) reported that, "We learnt that there might be extra terrestrial life out there in space and it helpmed me understand my topic of space better. I liked seeing The Shard all all the tall sky scrappers in London and I really enjoyed sketching this".
Please can I add an ENORMOUS THANK YOU to all of the volunteers who helped to support this trip. We really couldn't run trips without you and we very much appreciate your time and help.
